Residual values, people, and IT – that is what makes us successful. Our more than 100 employees in currently eight departments at our location in Karlsruhe contribute to this. Together we form an international team and a strong community with the common goal of providing the best possible service to every customer.

Site Management
Dominik Bläker
Since November 2023, I have been managing the branch and focusing on the representation and development of WOM. I am convinced that sustainable success is based on excellent performance, innovative strength and first-class customer service. The continuous, thoughtful shaping of the team is at the center of my responsibility. Satisfied employees create an environment for necessary change and innovation. "It is not the strongest species that survives, nor the most intelligent. It is the one that can best adapt to change" (Charles Darwin). This quote shapes my conviction that adaptability and continuous change are the key to long-term corporate success.
IT and Development
Alexander Steitz
We master both small and large technical challenges at WOM. This includes internal and external IT support as well as all aspects of the technical development and implementation of the WOM auction platform. We are not only the contact for our colleagues but also for our business partners for whom we always have an open ear in order to meet their individual requirements.
Data Input
Silvia Hansert
In our department, we are responsible for setting up third-party appraisals that we receive by e-mail. The correct transfer of data and the blackening of vehicle images demand full concentration from our full-time and part-time employees every day and require a responsible way of working. A year ago we got a new program, which enables us to work more effectively.
Auction Service
Klaus Lauinger
Our team is the first contact for all new customers during the registration process, no matter if they are new sellers, national or international dealers and recyclers. We accompany our customers from registration to the introduction in the exchange and are the first contact for all questions concerning the WOM auction platform. We always try to meet every request of our customers and to find a satisfactory solution for all parties even in difficult cases.
International buyer service (IBS)
Peter Nkansah
Our team ensures the smooth running of all vehicle sales via WOM. Our tasks primarily include contract processing and brokerage in the national and international salvage business as well as scheduling and coordinating vehicle processing. Particular challenges are the communication with various contractual partners as well as coordination with and adherence to their current deadlines. After all, our goal is to continuously improve our customer service and to make the purchase and sale of vehicles as easy as possible for everyone involved.
Human Resources

Accessible, personal, and appreciative – these are the principles on which we base our daily work. Whether in administration, payroll, training, or recruiting, we are the interface to our employees. We attach great importance to personal advice and support. We treat our employees with empathy and appreciation. This is the only way to create a climate of trust.
Our WOM family is growing. This is why we also keep a close eye on our potential employees. Here, too, appreciative interaction plays an important role. Every applicant receives prompt feedback from us. From the confirmation of receipt to the discussion of the contract – we take time for every single applicant.
